Conference POSTPONED to October 2020
The conference organising committee has reflected upon the increased risks arising from the global COVID-19 outbreak. This, together with the increased imposition of travel restrictions, will have an impact on the attendance of speakers and guests. In the interests of maximising conference participation, the event will be rescheduled to October 2020.

Scope of the Conference
The 3rd National Conference on thin films and applications will be held in the University of Biskra on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16, April 2020.
This Conference is organized by the Laboratory of Physics of Thin Films and Applications (Laboratoire de Physique des Couches Minces et Applications, LPCMA) and the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Natural and life sciences of the University of Biskra.
The two previous conferences on 2017 and 2018 had considerable success and a continuously growing interest is remarkable.
This Conference became a well-established and leading forum in the field of thin films and their technologies and applications.
It provides an opportunity to present recent progress in research and development and industrial applications.
Its topics span a wide range from fundamentals such as modeling and simulation towards the applications in industrial production through experimental studies which establish the relationships between process parameters and the structural and functional properties of modified surfaces and/or thin films.
